ou can create movies that take advantage of the effects available in P, A, S, and M modes.
This option takes effect when the mode dial is rotated to n.
Select [nMode Settings] in nVideo Menu and press the OK button.
Select [nMode] (movie exposure modes) and press I.
Highlight an option using the FG buttons.
P
Optimal aperture is set automatically according to the brightness of the subject.

ear dial to adjust exposure compensation.
A
Depiction of background is changed by setting the aperture.
Use the front dial to adjust exposure compensation and rear dial to adjust aperture.
S
Shutter speed affects how the subject appears. Use the front dial to adjust
exposure compensation and rear dial to adjust shutter speed.
Shutter speed can be set to values between 1/24s and 1/32000s.
M
Freely adjust both aperture and shutter speed.
Use the front dial to select aperture value and the rear dial to select shutter speed.
Choose from shutter speeds of 1/24s–1/32000s. Values of ISO 200–6400 are
available using the [nISO] manual sensitivity control options.
The display shows the difference between the exposure produced by the
selected aperture and shutter speed and the optimal exposure metered by the
camera. The display will flash if the difference exceeds ±3EV.
The option chosen for [nSpecification Settings]> [bISO-Auto Set] in
the nVideo Menu (P. 233) applies.
