2. At front of lid/adapter assembly, disconnect the air line from the one touch latch
release air cylinder.
3. Remove the clip-ring from the air cylinder knuckle and disengage the knuckle from the
hinge bracket.

NOTE
The air cylinder will still be attached to the motion base, but there should be enough
movement to disengage the knuckle from the bracket.
4. Disconnect the inline electrical connectors on the interlock switches located on the left
and right sides of lid/adapter assembly.
5. Remove LED boards, see section 2.3.5 "LED boards" on page 124.
6. Using small diagonal wire cutters, cut any wire ties secured to the lid/adapter
assembly.
7. Loosen (5) M3 screws and remove one cable retainer on each side of the lid/adapter.
NOTE
Observe the locations of cable retainers for reassembly.
8. Remove (4) M3 screws from front and rear of the lid adapter.
