17. Slide the inner seal off the spindle.

18. Remove the old packing material found in the groove of the outer seal.
You may need to use a 2 mm Allen key to dig out the end of the packing, the two ends of
the packing should meet at the top of the spindle.
Take care not to scratch the spindle housing with a Allen key.
19. Clean the groove of the outer seal free of debris.
20. Install the new packing.
You may need to use a 2 mm Allen key to gently push the packing into the groove, the two
ends should meet at the top of the spindle. Remember to take care not to scratch the
spindle housing during this procedure.
21. Reinstall the inner seal and 6 screws.
2.9 Tank level sensors and filter basket
The drawer lock/pump suction bracket includes the locking mechanism for the drawer, the
pump suction line with suction strainer and high and low water level indicators. The tank
floats and strainer should be cleaned once a week to prevent mold growth or build-up of
ceramic material and for optimal circulation.
