the operator or technician may choose to clean the tank at any time by following the
procedure below.
The drawer lock/pump suction bracket includes the locking mechanism for the drawer, the
pump suction line with suction strainer and high and low water level indicators. The tank
floats and strainer should be cleaned once a week to prevent mould growth or build-up of
ceramic material and for optimal circulation.
Tools and items required:
• 0.18 litres Planmeca approved coolant concentrate
• 3.79 litres clean water
• Paper towels
1. Touch the Fluid tank service icon.
2. Select the Yes button to unlock the drawer, the drawer will unlock and the pump will
run for a moment to purge the circulation lines.
3. Allow the system a few seconds to drain after the pump turns off, gently pull the
drawer open.
4. Remove the fluid tank from the drawer, and remove tank lid by unscrewing two
screws securing lid to tank; dispose of dirty coolant in accordance with local
regulations.
5. Clean the tank thoroughly with a soft brush. Use the same brush to clean the wire
basket that sits in the fluid tank. If the basket holds water, it is not clean.

screws.
