2.10 Profile sensor
Tools required
• 2.5 mm Allen key
• #1 Philips screwdriver
Replacement of a profile sensor requires subsequent completion of tool profiler
sensor calibration and origin calibration procedures.
Removal
1. Remove the tool holder, see section 2.9 "Tool holder" on page 147.
2. Remove the profile sensor cap located behind the tool holder on top of the tool
changer arm.

3. Remove the (4) 2.5 mm Philips flat head screws retaining the cap, remove the cap
from the arm.
Observe the positioning and arrangement of the profile sensor cable assembly as you must
position the cable assembly of the replacement profile sensor correctly to allow the cap to
lay flat on the arm when reassembled.
4. Remove the two profile sensor securing screws located in the recessed holes located
on the right side of the tool changer arm.
