housing and ensure the black O-ring remains in its groove.

remove them and install them on the replacement quick release adapter.

9. Use the quick release nozzle cap removal and installation tool to install the quick
release nozzle cap.
2.14 Software configuration
2.14.1 Pulling log files
Pulling system log files may be necessary for troubleshooting and diagnosis. Log files will
consist of design center logs, job server logs and PlanMill 40 logs. These log files will be
found in the root directory of each piece of Planscan equipment; c:\D4D\logs.
All files should be copied and sent to Planmeca After Sales if requested. New log files are
created each day. The files from the previous day are appended with the date.
Do not attempt to purge or delete old log file, the system purges log files older than 30
days automatically.
Log filenames:
• d4dutilcpp_log.txt
• millingcenter_log.txt
2.14.2 Installing software/firmware
All software/firmware updates are done remotely via Windows Remote Connect.
The installers for the current installed version are usually kept in c:\D4D\Support\
folder.
The firmware installers are typically run from the Software Installer.
