8. Remove fasteners

retaining lower stabilizer bar
link. Repeat step on opposite side of vehicle.
9. Remove two brake caliper fasteners

and remove
the brake caliper.
10.Remove the cotter pin

, loosen the hub castle nut

and remove the cone washer
s
. Discard the cotter
pin, nut, and washer.
11. Remove the hub assembly.
12.Remove the lower shock fastener
d
.
13.Remove upper control arm pinch bolt.
14.Using a soft face hammer, tap on bearing carrier to
loosen the upper A-arm ball joint end while lifting
upward on the upper A-arm. Completely remove the
ball joint end from the bearing carrier.
15.Remove driveshaft from bearing carrier.
16.With a short, sharp jerk, remove drive shaft from the
front gearcase.
17.Repeat steps 9-17 on the opposite side of the vehicle.
