STEERING RACK INSTALLATION
1. Install the steering rack from the right side of the
vehicle.
2. Install lower steering shaft onto steering rack.
3. Install lower steering shaft pinch bolt and torque to
specification.
TORQUE
Lower Steering Shaft Pinch Bolt:
50 ft-lb (68 Nm)
4. Torque EPS bracket mounting nuts to specification.
TORQUE
EPS Bracket Mounting Fasteners:
30 ft-lbs (41 Nm)
5. Install the driveshaft into bearing carrier and front
gearcase.
6. Install the upper A-arm into the bearing carrier.
7. Install upper ball joint pinch bolt

. Torque to
specification.
TORQUE
Ball Joint Pinch Bolt:
40 ft-lbs (54 Nm)
8. Install the lower shock mounting fastener
w
. Torque
to specification.
TORQUE
Shock Mounting Fasteners:
70 ft-lbs (95 Nm)
9. Install the tie rod end and fastener. Repeat step for
remaining side.
TORQUE
Tie rod end:
30 ft-lbs (41 Nm) + 90°
10.Install hub assembly.
