15.Remove the cover panel and remove the fuel tank
vent line from the tank fitting.
NOTICE
Carefully bend back the cover panel by the fuel fill neck.
Do not bend the plastic so far as to crack the panel or
permanently deform the plastic.
16.Cut the three zip ties retaining the wiring to the edges
of the fuel tank.
17.Lift the rear of the fuel tank up first. Carefully pull the
fuel tank out of the vehicle.
FUEL TANK INSTALLATION
1. Carefully lower the front of the fuel tank down. Be
careful to avoid pinching any of the wiring by the
middle of the vehicle.
IMPORTANT
Ensure the fuel tank strap is below the fuel tank.
2. Install three new zip ties retaining the wiring to the
edges of the fuel tank.
3. Install the fuel tank vent line to the tank fitting. Install
the cover panel above the fuel tank.
4. Install the Torx screws

and plastic rivets

retaining the block-off panel using a T40 Torx driver.
Torque fasteners to specification.
TORQUE
Block-off Panel Screws:
8 ft-lbs (11 Nm)
