• DLM key file
Open the [Open] dialog box by clicking on …, and specify a DLM key file.
Remark: If a DLM key file is not specified, programming of the flash memory will not proceed.
(M) Boundary
Set the size of the secure and non-secure callable areas of the target device.
• “Set Option”
“Do Nothing”: Boundaries are not to be set.
“Set”: The setting of boundaries is enabled.
• “Renesas Partition Data File”
Use the Renesas Partition Data File to make the settings of “Secure [KB]” and “NSC [KB]” on boundaries.
• “Secure [KB]”
Enter the size of the secure area in KB units.
• “NSC [KB]”
Enter the size of the non-secure callable area in KB units.
Caution: Confirm the specifiable sizes in the user’s manual of the target device since limits will apply.
(N) Flash Read Protection
Make the setting for flash read protection.
• “Set Option”
“Do Nothing”: Flash read protection is not to be set.
“Set”: The setting for flash read protection is enabled.
• “Start Block/End Block”
Select the start or end block from the pull-down menu.
Remark: To enable reading of all blocks, select “Permitted All Blocks”.
• “Disable rewriting”
“No”: Rewriting of flash read protection is not disabled.
“Yes”: Rewriting of flash read protection is disabled.
(O) Extra Option
Make the setting for the extra option.
• “Set Option”
“Do Nothing”: An extra option is not to be set.
“Set”: The setting of an extra option is enabled.
• “Disable rewriting”
“No”: Rewriting of an extra option is not disabled.
“Yes”: Rewriting of an extra option is disabled.
Caution: Once the Extra Option function is set for an MCU, the setting cannot be reversed.
