Serial Port Communications and Commands
Command Summary
The relay responds with Invalid Access Level if a command is entered from
an access level lower than the specified access level for the command. The
relay responds:
Invalid Command
to commands not listed above or entered incorrectly.
Many of the command responses display the following header at the
beginning:
SEL-311C POTT Date: 10/12/99 Time: 16:15:39.372

SEL-311C POTT: This is the RID setting (the relay is
shipped with the default setting
RID = SEL-311C POTT; see Identifier Labels on page 9.33).
BUS B, BREAKER 3: This is the TID setting (the relay is shipped with
the default setting TID = BUS B, BREAKER 3;
see Identifier Labels on page 9.33).
Date: This is the date the command response was given
(except for relay response to the EVE or SUM command
[Event], where it is the date the event occurred). You can
modify the date display format (Month/Day/Year or Year/
Month/Day) by changing the DATE_F relay setting.
Time This is the time the command response
was given (except for relay response to the EVE
or SUM command, where it is the time the event occurred).
