For example, the factory default setting for MTU in the SEL-221C is shown in
Table 14.27. From Table 14.25, the equivalent SEL-311C SEL
OGIC control
equation to MTU is TR. Constructing the logical OR of the equivalent of each
element selected in the MTU mask from Table 14.26 gives:
TR = 51PT + MABC1 + 51GT + 67G1 + MPP1 + 67G2T + 67G3T + M3PT + OC +
IN101
Since IN101 (DT) is also included in the DTT tripping logic equation, it can
be eliminated from the TR equation. Also, MABC1 + MPP1 can be replaced
by M1P. Therefore, the TR equation becomes:
TR = M1P + M3PT + 67G1 + 67G2T + 67G3T + 51PT + 51GT + OC
which is the default SEL
OGIC control equation for TR when APP = 221C.
When setting APP = 221C, the SEL-311C automatically sets the following
SEL
OGIC control equations. Change the settings just as you would change the
Mask Logic settings in an SEL-221C to customize the relay logic.
