Appendix I

DNP Communications

Overview

The SEL-311C family of relays are available with the option to support

Distributed Network Protocol (DNP3) Level 2 Slave protocol. This includes

access to metering data, protection elements (Relay Word), contact I/O,

targets, sequential events recorder, breaker monitor, relay summary event

reports, settings groups, and time synchronization. The SEL-311C supports

DNP point remapping.
