Testing and Troubleshooting
Introduction
This section contains important information for owning and operating the
SEL-2032 Communications Processor and also contains information about the
Alarm conditions for the SEL-2032 and its self-tests. Troubleshooting with
corrective actions and initial checkout procedures are also discussed.
Alarm Conditions
The SEL-2032 asserts the ALARM contact for a variety of conditions
automatically, and it also asserts based on the ALARM SEL
OGIC
®
control
equation. The ALARM equation is assigned to SALARM. Table 10.1 lists the
various conditions that cause ALARM contact and SALARM operations.
