20) GLOW LAMP TIMER
Description and Location
The glow plug indicator light timer is an
electronic timer that is located under the
engine cover on the right side of the tractor
firewall. The timer controls how long the
glow plug indicator light on the instrument
panel remains illuminated when the key
switch is in the “HEAT” position
(approximately 4 ~ 5 seconds). The glow
plug indicator light timer does not control
current to the glow plugs, only current to the
indicator light on the instrument panel. The
timer turns the indicator light off by opening
the circuit to the light on the instrument
panel.
