4. TRANSMISSION 1
1）Dissembling
(1) HST unit
① Remove the HST unit from the front of the
transmission case (2 bolts and 2 nuts.).
② Remove the control lever and adaptor from the
HST unit.
③ Remove the joint, snap ring and O-ring from the
drive shaft.
(2) Drive shaft (PTO)
① Remove the snap ring (φ25) at the rear of the
drive shaft and take out the fixed gear A.
② Break and remove the oil seal and remove the snap
ring (φ52).
③ Drive out the shaft front-wards together with the
bearing.
(3) Drive shaft（for traveling）
① Break and remove the oil seal and remove the snap
ring（φ52）.
② Drive out the shaft front-wards together with the
bearing（6205）and thrust washer and take out the
counter gear B with needle bearings, collar and
fixed gear A.
NOTE：
Take care for needle bearing and collar in the counter
gear.
