1-6 Installation and Trial Run
1. INSTALLATION
1) Liquid gasket and thread sealant (Loctite Safety Solvent)
(1) We recommend the liquid gasket sealer is SHIBAURA Part Code No. 095109062 or Three Bond No. 1104.
(2) Use care to not permit excess sealer to enter the inside of the housings or shift rod bores.
(3) We recommend the thread sealant is Three Bond No. 1305B and apply the thread sealant.
2) Installation generally follows the removal procedure in reverse and refers to mentioned below:
(1) JOIN THE TRANSMISSION １ AND TRANSMISSION ２
When install the transmission 1 and transmission 2, take care as follows on Model 9×3 manual transmission.
Align the flat face on the PTO counter shaft of transmission 1 and counter gear on the drive pinion of transmission 2 when
install the transmission 1 and transmission 2.
(For prevent the interference counter gear and PTO counter shaft.)
NOTE: Install the same thickness shim, 1, between the bearing, 2, and 4WD fixed gear , 3, before install the
TRANSMISSION 1 and TRANSMISSION 2 on the 9x3 and HST models.

(2) Tightening torque for piping
① PF1/2 65.7～78.4 N･m {6.7～8.0 kgf･m}
② M8 22.6～28.4 N･m {2.3～2.9 kgf･m}
③ PF3/8 39.2～49.0 N･m {4.0～5.0 kgf･m}
④ M6 8.3～11.2 N･m {0.85～1.15 kgf･m}
