6.3.7 Parameterizing the MPI interface (X102) (optional)
When you have completed the ”Properties – PROFIBUS DP Interface” dialog
box (see previous Section 6.3.5, Page 6-143) the 840Di sl Rack is displayed in
the Station window.
To parameterize the MPI interface you will have to make the following parame-
ter settings:
S Interface type
S Transmission rate
Double–click module: MPI/DP, slot X1 in the 840Di sl Rack, to open the MPI/DP
Properties dialog box.
