11.6.4 Connection via Ethernet
Parameterization of handwheels connected via Ethernet modules, e.g. machine
control table ”MCP 483C IE”, is done with the following NCK machine data:
S MD11350 $MN_HANDWHEEL_SEGMENT[< Handwheel_No. – 1>] = 7
When connected via Ethernet module, the hardware segment has always to
be entered as 7 (Ethernet).
Note
The following machine data are not evaluated with connection via Ethernet:
S MD11351 $MN_HANDWHEEL_MODULE (handwheel module)
S MD11352 $MN_HANDWHEEL_INPUT (handwheel input)
Handwheel assignment of handwheels connected via Ethernet modules cannot
be changed.
