4. After confirming with OK, the properties dialog box of the Ethernet interface
is displayed. Select the tab: Parameter (1) tab and enter the IP address and
subnet mask of the PG/PC (2).

Determining the IP address and subnet mask of the PG/PC:
On the PG/PC: Windows XP taskbar: Start > Run, Command: ipconfig
Select the Ethernet connection already parameterized in the previous Sec-
tion 6.3.8, Page 6-145 as the subnet: ”Ethernet (1)” (3)
Click OK to confirm the dialog.
