Settings Relating to
Signal Outputs
Configures settings for outputs 1 to 48.
This also configure format converter (FC) outputs 1 to 16.
Number of outputs
The number of outputs per connector board (4K format/
HD format) is given below.
a) 6 when the signal format is 1080P/59.94 or 1080P/50.
The maximum number of outputs is 48 for HD format and
12 for 4K format (with combination of four XKS-S8165 or
XKS-T8165 boards installed).
The maximum number of format converter outputs is 4 for
4K format (with combination of four XKS-S8165 or XKS-
T8165 boards installed).
4K format output settings
Four output connectors are assigned as a single group to a
4K signal.
A single group comprises four outputs in numeric order
starting from the first output, and settings are applied to the
first number in each group.
1080P/59.94 and 1080P/50 format output settings
The number of outputs on an NMI connector board (XKS-
T8165) is half the number of connectors on an SDI
connector board (XKS-S8165).
On an NMI board, only odd-numbered outputs can be
configured.
Format converter outputs
Format converter outputs 1 to 16 corresponds to format
converter output connectors 1 to 16 of the output connector
board.
The number of format converter output connectors will
vary depending on the number of output connector boards
installed.
You can enable the format converter function if an XKS-
8460 Format Converter Board is installed.
For details about format converter output connectors, see
“XVS-8000 Multi Format Switcher” (page 60).
In 4K format, only format converter outputs 1, 5, 9, and
13 can be configured.
The following functions are not supported on format
converter outputs.
Video clips, vertical blanking, through mode, safe titles,
4:3 crop, AUX bus color corrector
