3.4 Trash Calibration
The trash module used in the HVI SPECTRUM instrument has been
designed to operate for an extended period of time without requiring
calibration. It is recommended that a routine check be performed
rather than a
routine calibration . A calibration should only be done in
cases of extreme swings in temperature or in a highly dusty
environment.
In the event that it becomes necessary to calibrate the trash, follow
these instructions:
1. Select the S
ETUP button from the HVI SPECTRUM MAIN MENU.
2. Select the CALIBRATE button.
3. Choose the TRASH button from the CALIBRATION screen.
