4. AT5600 Functional Description
4.1. Behind the Front Panel
It is not necessary to understand the operation of the AT5600, but it may be of
interest as well as helping to understand its capabilities and to troubleshoot
measurement problems.
The internal functionality of the AT5600 tester is summarized below:
Test Nodes
Relay Switching Matrix
Processors
Test Sources
Touchscreen & Keys
Measurement Circuits
Interfaces
You do not need to know how each block functions to use the tester. The
following explanation is included for users who wish to understand more.
4.1.1. Test Nodes
These are the spring-loaded ATE pins that can be seen on the top surface of the
tester. Each node is made up of two contacts - apower pin, and a ‘sense’ pin -
forming a Kelvin pair.
