3.7.2 Data transmission X.25 in the D channel
Test procedure
• If the service provides for X.25 transmission via the D channel, set up the appro-
priate test connections via PC and the connected TA X.25-D adapter to the
X.25 network via ISDN (for information on operation and connection to the S
bus, see "X.25 connection in the D channel", page 757).
• Test the X.25 service during simultaneous phone traffic on the allocated B
channels.
3.8 Testing the PISN
There are several possibilities for networking a PISN:
• Leased-line networking
• Virtual networking
• Virtual networking and virtual Centrex
• IP networking
The tests for the first three types of networking are described further below. For
information on testing Networking over IP (Internet Protocol) see the System Man-
ual AIP 6400.
