5.5.1 Precautions for Setting Voltage Limit
In scan operation or remote operation, the limiter may be activated during output response to source value
change under the following conditions:
• Same range
• New source value < Former source value
• New limit value < Former limit value
The following is a waveform example when the settings are changed from "100 V range, 100 V output and
VL=130 V" to "100 V range, 20 V output and VL =60 V".
As the D/A output value (from 100 V to 20 V) and the limit value (from 130 V to 60 V) are changed simul-
taneously, the limiter may be activated during the above TL period for output response from 100 V to
20 V depending on the load conditions.
NOTE: If the limiter is activated while the HIGH VOLTAGE indicator lights up, the output status becomes
Standby. In this case, the output status needs to be set to Operate again.
To avoid this phenomenon, set the voltage limit value to a value more than the former source value.

The limiter is activated during this period.
