3.7 Setting Limit Values
Both voltage and current limit values can be set regardless of the voltage or current function on the 6166.
Setting the maximum allowable voltage and current of the load as limit values in advance can prevent any
trouble caused by incorrect setting of the source value.
NOTE: When the divider voltage function is selected, the limit values are fixed and not settable.
For more information, refer to Section 3.7.3, "Setting Ranges and Resolutions of Limit Values."
3.7.1 Setting Voltage and Current Limit Values
This section describes the procedure of setting the voltage and current limit values.
Operating procedure
Check that the divider voltage function is set to OFF.
When the divider voltage function is set to ON, the DIVIDER key lights up.
Pressing releases it.
Press to display the limit setting screen. The LIMIT key goes ON in green.
