5.5.3 Voltage Output (1000 V and 100 V Ranges) and Current Limit Detection
When voltage is output in the 1000 V range with the current limit set to the lowest level, the current limiter
is activated by the charge current of the capacitor of approx. 0.66 F that is inserted between the internal
outputs.
When the limiter is activated in the 1000 V range, the output is set to OFF (Standby). Thus, even if the
current limiter is activated, it is ignored for two seconds in which the charge current becomes 1 mA or
lower.
In the 100 V range, the current limiter may be activated for a moment under the condition that the voltage
fluctuation is large as from 0 V to the full scale or vice versa. To avoid this phenomenon, set the current
limit to 3 mA or higher.
NOTE: The masked time for current limit detection in the 1000 V range is two seconds after the source value
setting.
