DAC 16x supports 16xE1 or DS1 tributaries on Mini RJ-21 connectors.

DAC 3xE3/DS3M
DAC 3xE3/DS3M supports three operational modes:
• E3/DS3 tributary mode. Up to three E3 or DS3 tributaries on paired BNC
connectors.
• E13 multiplexer mode. One or two E3 interfaces are multiplexed to an NxE1
backplane.
• 34 Mbps transparent E3 mode for video (MPEG) transport. One or two
transparent E3 tributaries are each mapped to a 34xE1 backplane.
