Inactivity Lock and Screen Saver Settings
The Inactivity Lock and Screen Saver policies settings are the exceptions
regarding the COS design compared to the Microsoft Security Baseline for
Windows 10 v1607.
• In the Baseline, the policies are set so that a screen saver launches if no
activity occurs for a specified time. Once the screen saver launches, you
enter the password to access the module.
• In the COS, a screen saver does not launch and the account is not
locked, regardless of the length of time that no activity occurs on
the COS.
The following changes were made to disable the inactivity lock and screen
saver policies.
