– Remove bracket for hydraulic lines -1-.
– Remove pressure line and return line -2- from steering gear.
Affects all Vehicles
– Disconnect left and right connectors -2-.
– Place Engine/Gearbox Jack - VAG1383A- with wooden block
under subframe and press lightly against.
– Secure the subframe, refer to
⇒ “2.4 Subframe, Securing”, page 39 .
– Remove screws -4- and, where installed, remove thrust wash‐
ers, refer to -Item 10- ⇒ Item 10 (page 18) .
