31 - Self-Locking Nut
With securing plate
Always replace if removed.
32 - Bolt
150 Nm + 90°
Always replace if removed.
33 - Bolt
150 Nm + 90°
Always replace if removed.
34 - Self-Locking Nut
Always replace if removed.
3.2 Lower Control Arm, Removing and In‐
stalling
Special tools and workshop equipment required
Torque Wrench 1332 40-200Nm - VAG1332-
Removing
Note
An axle alignment may be required. Refer to
⇒ “5 Wheel Alignment”, page 247 .
With vehicles with air suspension, place vehicle on hoist, refer
to ⇒ “4 Positioning Vehicle on Hoist and Wheels”, page 10 .
Remove wheel.
If equipped, remove stone impact protection from lower control
arm.
