In order to insert locating fixtures, engine must be completely
supported.

Support 3.6L FSI engine completely with engine support
bridge, refer to ⇒ page 20 .
♦
Support 4.2L FSI engine completely with engine support
bridge, refer to ⇒ page 21 .
♦
Support 3.0L TDI engine completely with engine support
bridge, refer to ⇒ page 22 .
– Remove bolts -2-.
– At these two points, thread in Assembly Carrier Locating Pins
- T10300- up to marking -B- »by hand«.
– Tighten the locating pins to 30 Nm while counterholding the
sleeve at the flat areas using an open-end wrench to prevent
it from turning.
Position of subframe is now secured.
Removal of Assembly Carrier Locating Pins - T10300- is per‐
formed in the reverse order of installation.
