Installing the Bonded Rubber Bushing
– Mount the tools as illustrated.
1 - Thrust Piece - T10301/7-
2 - Bonded Rubber Bushing
3 - Thrust Plate - T10301/15-
4 - Hydraulic Press - VAS6178- with Pressure Head -
T10205/13-
5 - Nut - T10301/2-
6 - Spindle - T10301/1-
– Press in bonded rubber bushing until shoulder lies »gap-free«
at subframe sleeve.
Installing
Installation is the reverse of removal, with special attention to the
following:

♦ Torque Wrench 1331 5-50Nm - VAG1331-
♦ Assembly Carrier Locating Pins - T10300-
For certain assemblies on the vehicle, subframe or complete front
axle must be removed. For installation, the original position of the
subframe can be retained by using Assembly Carrier Locating
Pins - T10300- . Always install locating pins just prior to lowering
subframe or complete front axle.
