Remove screw -2- on back side of cooler.
Disengage the hydraulic fluid cooler -1- from the A/C con‐
denser.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
Note
If hydraulic oil cooler was replaced, all hydraulic oil must be
replaced .
Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate to
the model, refer to the Parts Catalog.
Clean oiled places in engine compartment.
Tighten the bolt on the rear side of the radiator to 9 Nm.
Fill the hydraulic fluid and check the level, refer to
⇒ “4.1 Power Steering, Checking Hydraulic Oil Level”,
page 310 .
Bleed steering system, refer to
⇒ “4.2 Steering System, Bleeding after Replacing”,
page 311 .
On vehicles with air suspension, position vehicle on wheels,
refer to
⇒ “4 Positioning Vehicle on Hoist and Wheels”, page 10 .
