Installing
Special tools and workshop equipment required
♦ Hose Clamps - Up To 25mm - 3094-
♦ Torque Wrench 1410 - VAG1410-
♦ Hose Clip Pliers - VAS5024A-
Removing
– If the vehicle has air suspension, turn on the “vehicle lift mode”,
refer to ⇒ “2.3 Vehicle Lift Mode”, page 209 .
– Only remove front noise insulation -1-.
– From MY 2010 remove the front bumper, refer to ⇒ Body Ex‐
terior; Rep. Gr. 63 .
– Remove fan shroud with the coolant fans, refer to ⇒ Engine
Mechanical; Rep. Gr. 19 .
– Remove left and right bolt -2-, refer to ⇒ Engine Mechanical;
Rep. Gr. 19 .
