Removing
Affects Vehicles with Air Suspension
– Place vehicle on hoist, refer to
⇒ “4 Positioning Vehicle on Hoist and Wheels”, page 10 .
Affects all Vehicles
– Remove noise insulation, refer to ⇒ Rep. Gr. 50 .
– Disconnect left and right connectors -2-.
– Pry the cap -1- (if equipped) off the balance weight -2- and
remove the bolt.
– Remove the damper -2- from the stabilizer bar clamp.
– Remove screws -1- to -4-.
– Remove stabilizer bar -5-.
Installing
Installation is the reverse of removal, with special attention to the
following:

If you replace stabilizer, note chassis version.
♦
Stabilizer and mounting must be free of grease.
♦
Note stabilizer bar bearing location.
