11. Check and, if necessary, tighten fourteen M16 bolts (seven bolts on each side)
connecting the FDA body with the FDA tubes with a torque of 180 to 200 Nm.
12. Check and, if necessary, tighten sixteen M16 bolts (eight bolts on each side)
connecting the FDA wheel gear groups to the FDA tubes with a torque of 180 to 200 Nm.
Note - The front wheel fenders must be removed to access the bolt heads.
13. Check, and if necessary, tighten the nuts for the conical connection of the pins
of the steering hydraulic cylinder, for which do the following:
- remove cotter pins from the castellated nuts;
- check and, if necessary, tighten two castellated nuts M27 of the pins of the steer-
ing hydraulic cylinder with a torque of 180 to 200 Nm.
- then tighten the nut further until the nearest groove on the nut coincides with the
hole in the pin, and faster by cotter.
14. Check and, if necessary, tighten the attachments of the HSC hydraulic cylinder
bracket to the FDA body (three M16 nuts with a torque of 110 to 140).
15. Check and, if necessary, tighten two M27x1.5 lock nuts (with left and right
threads) of the steering rod pipe with a torque of 100 to 140 Nm.
16. Check and, if necessary, tighten two castellated nuts M20x1.5 of the ball pins of
the steering rod, for which do the following:
- remove cotter pins from the castellated nuts;
- tighten each castellated nut with a torque of 100 to 140 Nm;
- then tighten each castellated nut further until the nearest groove on the nut coin-
cides with the hole in the ball pin and fasten by cotter.
