UNIVERSAL REV
Shows the revision of the specific universal HART
®
command set.
For the Uni-Probe you need the Universal Commands for HART
®
5
or higher. This means, that the HART
®
Communicator, e.g. by
Emerson Process Model 275, has to be equipped at least with the
firmware 2.5 or the newer model 375 has to be used.
If the Communicator has a lower version than HARTHART
®
5, then
the Generic DD will be started.
F
LD DEV REV
Shows the current device compatibility to DD on the Communica-
tor. This number, e.g. 2, indicates that a DD Revision 2 is necessary
which supports the full functional range of the device (see page 3–
388).
In the directory …
HART COMMUNICATOR UTILITY SIMULATION BERTHOLD
TECHNOLOGIES LB490
…you find the DD version (see page 3–388).
The information
DEV V provided there must match the above FLD
DEV REV
. What happens if this is not the case is described on
page 3–393.
SOFTWARE REV
Shows the embedded software in the LB 490.
See also the table on page 3–390.
HARDWARE REV
Shows the hardware revision. This number is set up by BERTHOLD
TECHNOLOGIES and cannot be changed by the operator.
POLL ADDR
Shows the polling address. It is used by the host terminal to iden-
tify the field device, if more than one HART
®
device is connected to
the same HART
®
loop.
This mode is called Multidrop Mode (multi-detector mode). Up to 16
HART
®
devices can be installed on one HART
®
loop. Each device
must have a different polling number between 1 and 15.
