2.1 Requirements
Uni-Probe with embedded software:
• LB 490: 1.30 or higher
• LB 491: 1.20 or higher
If the required software status is not available, you can install the
software on the Uni-Probe using the program Uni-Loader (see
User's Manual Uni-Probe).

2.2 FDT Container

field devices. It is a freely available software into which manufac-
turers can integrate the operation of their devices by means of a
DTM (Device Type Manager).
This software can simulate a HART

Communicator on the PC.
The menus are identical with those on the HART

Communicator
and will not be described in this section.

Operation under Windows 95 and Windows 98 is not possible.
