4.4 One-Point Calibration
One-point calibration is used if adjustment of the upper calibration
point is not possible and if complete absorption of the radiation by
a full vessel is not expected. Prerequisite is that the isotope (Co-60
or Cs-137) has already been set up correctly (see page 6–604).
One-point calibration is carried out in five steps:
• Select operating mode one-point calibration
• Measure background
• Empty calibration
• Full calibration through automatic calculation using the tank
data.
• Check calibration
The necessary steps will be explained in detail on the following
pages and in the proper order.
Select the operating mode for one-point calibration (see
page page 6–606).
