2.36 CURRENT OUTPUT
1 LOOP TEST
Choose a value that you want to measure on the current output.
Check whether the current indicates the right value in the process
control system or connect a current meter on the current output to
measure the actual value.
• 4mA: The current output is set to 4mA.
• 20mA: The current output is set to 20mA.
• Other: The current output is set to any value between 3.6mA
and 22mA.
• End: The menu is closed.
The impedance on the current output must always be lower than
500Ohm, but at least 250Ohm.
2 CURRENT
Displays the live current output, corresponding to the level reading.
3 D/A TRIM
Adjust the current output. This function allows you to adjust to the
new current output.
In a menu-guided process, 4mA and 20mA are defaulted one after
the other. You are prompted to enter the actual value displayed on
your current meter.
