9.5 Operation Modes during Measurement
The operating mode determines, for example, if a measurement is
currently running or not. Use
DEVICE  VIEW PARAMETER  STA-
TUS/ERROR LOG
to display the operating mode.
9.6 Error Reset
Error messages are displayed in a message window and / or by a
changed device icon (see page 5–525) in SIMATIC PDM.
The error is reset via modal dialog boxes; this means, that the user
has to be informed about the error before he or she clicks the
OK
button.
Problematic operating states of the device will result in a changed
device icon. This status will be reset only after elimination of the
error. Then these errors will be reset automatically.
