7 Error Handling Volume 7
7.2 Error Handling Modes
You can choose between the operating modes Continue measure-
ment or Stop measurement.
Go to the function block
TRANSDUCER.
Define the desired operating mode in the parameter
LE_ERROR_HANDLING:
Continue measurement:
If the error disappears, the measurement automatically goes to
the RUN mode. If the error relay has indicated an alarm status,
it automatically returns to the normal status.
Stop measurement
If the error disappears, the error relay remains on alarm.
The error message has to be reset.
Send the entries to the Uni-Probe.
This completes the setting.
7.3 Operation Modes during Measurement
The following operating modes can be displayed in the parameter
LE_OPERATION_MODE:
Operating mode Measurement
Measurement Running RUN (normal averaging)
Halted Frozen. The measurement is stopped by:
external input HALT
exceeding the limits of parameter
LE_MAX_SENSOR_VALUE or
LE_MIN_SENSOR_VALUE
Stop Halted (aborted due to error message)
TEST Shows that a test value (count rate) >0 has
been entered in LE_SENSOR_TEST_VALUE.
Read In Is displayed if a count rate has been read into
the record LE_READ_IN_DATA for calibration.
