2.29 CURRENT / OUTPUT
1 UP. RANGE
Upper limit value
Enter the level for 20mA current output. Standard: 100%
In case of level values exceeding the upper limit value, the current
output can follow up to max. 20.8mA. This simplifies the identifica-
tion whether the measured value is greater than 100%.
2 LO. RANGE
Lower limit value
Enter the level for 4mA current output. Standard: 0%
In case of level values falling below the lower limit value, the cur-
rent output can follow up to max. 3.9mA. This simplifies the identi-
fication whether the measured value is smaller than 0%.
3 ALARM CODE
Operating mode for the current output in case of error.
If an error is identified, the error relay is set to alarm and the cur-
rent output is set to a value, which can be defined here.
There are five different ways how the current output should
respond to errors:
• High: Hold at 24mA.
• Low: Hold at 3.5mA.
• Hold: Hold last measured value.
• Value:
Hold at a selected value between 3.5 and 24mA. The respective
value must be entered in the
ERROR VALUE window (see
below).
• Value, min/max following:
Hold at a selected value between 3.5 and 24mA. The value
must be entered in the
ERROR VALUE window. If an error
occurs, the Min/Max alarm relays follow the fault current.
4 ERROR VAL.
If you have selected Value or Value, min/max following under
ALARM CODE, then enter here the desired current between 3.5 and
24mA. In case of error the current output will continue with the
selected value.
