1.1 Important Information on the
Profibus PA Operation
• Function blocks: 2 analog inputs (AI)
• Channels: Level, Probe temperature
Factory setting: AI1 = Level, AI2 = Probe temperature
• Profibus default address: 126
• Device master file (GSD): A17F.gsd
IMPORTANT
For connection of the process data via OPC, please contact
BERTHOLD TECHNOLOGIES for information on the slot index
addresses for the respective parameters.
1.2 Alternative Operation via HART
®
If no profibus connection is available, you may also configure the
Uni-Probe via HART
®
:
• Change the slide switch on the digital board next to the RS 232
interface (see Volume 2, chapter 3.3, page 2–189).
• Then turn the power supply for the Uni-Probe off and on again.
In this state, you can configure and calibrate the Uni-Probe via the
HART
®
current output (terminals 51/52). In this manner, you may
also set the Profibus PA address.
Set the slide switch back and turn the Uni-Probe off and on once
more to set the communication again to Profibus PA.
