7.4 Corrective Action
Error
number
Error message Probable cause Potential solution
0 Fatal Error RAM Replacing the digital board
1 Fatal Error ROM Replacing the digital board
2 Fatal Error EEPROM The parameter set has been diag-
nosed as faulty. The error check is
carried out by comparison with a
redundant parameter set.
Turn Uni-Probe off and on again; the
parameters will be reset to default
values. If the error message is dis-
played anyway, then you have to
replace the EEPROM or the entire
digital board.
3 Error CPU Clock The clock frequency of the CPU devi-
ates from the target value. A correct
function can no longer be guaran-
teed.
Replace digital board or electronics
module
4 Error Power Fail One of the supply voltages on the
digital board deviates from the target
value. The cause for this deviation
may be found in the power supply or
on the digital board.
Replacing the electronics module
5 Error No Pulse Rate Error in the detector part Replace multiplier and/or electron-
ics module
6 Error Wrong HV Fault in detector Replace multiplier and/or electron-
ics module
7 Error HV Deviation The actually generated HV does not
correspond to the default value.
Replacing the electronics module
8 Warning Change Multiplier The mean HV deviates -20% or
+40% from the setting in the param-
eter LE_HV_DEFAULT_VALUE. (The
mean HV is averaged with a time
constant of 10 days.)
Replace multiplier or multi-
plier-crystal combination.
9 Error TEMP out of range Ambient temperature too high Replace detector and use water
cooling.
Detector is probably destroyed.
10 Error Analog Frontend The actually generated threshold
value for control does not correspond
to the default value.
Replacing the electronics module
11 Error Control countrate Strong pulse rate increase in the
control channel.
Replacing the electronics module
12 Error No Control countrate Pulse rate in control channel too low. Replacing the electronics module
13 Error Watchdog Reset Electrical trouble or error in the elec-
tronics
The message is only entered in the
error log!
Remove electrical trouble, if neces-
sary, replace the electronics mod-
ule.
14 Error Hardware Reset Error in the electronics
The message is only entered in the
error log!
If the error occurs repeatedly, you
have to replace the electronics
module.
