3.1.12 CONFIGURATION GENERAL DATA
Parameters Input Description
Manufacturer ~ Name of device manufacturer.
Description a The descriptor identifies the unit of measure.
It may be used as needed. The default value is LB 490. A maximum of 16
characters can be entered.
Installation Date a Date the measuring device is installed in the system.
TAG a The term Tag (measurement system) may be used as needed. The default
value is LEVEL. A maximum of 8 characters can be entered.
Device Serial Num ~ Serial number of the Uni-Probe.
Date and Time a View or enter the date and time.
The correct date is important for the automatic decay compensation of the
isotope. A battery keeps the clock running even when power supply is off.
If the Uni-Probe has not been supplied with power for a longer period of
time (several weeks), then the capacitor may be empty. If in this case the
power supply is turned on again, then the clock starts running at the last
stored date. Thus, the error due to the missing decay compensation is
minor to negligible. In this case, the date has to be updated.
