Non-static error/warning messages

If the importance level is indicated by an upper case letter, this means that the message
in question is displayed only at the Messages page of the spectrometer home page
(figure
8.2). Whereas, if the importance level is indicated by a lower case letter, this
means that the message is displayed also in OPUS.
Importance level Description
W/w (Warning mes-
sage)
Non-static warning messages indicated by the importance level W or
w, allow to start measurement. A running measurement is not can
-
celled.
This kind of warning message is displayed only until OPUS has read
the Messages page of the spectrometer home page (figure
8.2).
A/a (Answer) A message with the importance level A or a is the correct answer to a
command with a return value.
Commands without return value do not return an answer mes-
sage.
This kind of message is displayed only until OPUS has read the Mes-
sages page of the spectrometer home page (figure 8.2).
F/f (Fatal error) A message with the importance level F or f indicates a (non-static) fatal
error which prevents a measurement from being started, or cancels a
running measurement.
To eliminate this kind of error message, first solve the problem and
then restart the measurement. This kind of message is displayed only
until OPUS has read the Messages page of the spectrometer home
page (figure
8.2).
I/i (Information mes-
sage)
A message with the importance level I or i provides additional informa-
tion. Only some commands return a message with additional
information.
This kind of message is displayed only until OPUS has read the Mes-
sages page of the spectrometer home page (figure 8.2).
