Use the arrow keys to select Read or Write, and then press [ENT].

Use thearrow keys to select the character to edit, and then use the
arrow keys to edit that character.
Only the first 20 characters on the bottom line are
available.
All printable ASCII characters are available with the exception of the
backslash ‘/’ (ASCII code 92) and tilde ‘~’ (ASCII code 126).
Once the string has been composed, press [ENT]. All trailing spaces are
removed from the Read Community string upon entry.
