Configuring the Sample Remote Port Mirroring
Remote port mirroring requires a source session (monitored ports on different source switches), a reserved
tagged VLAN for transporting mirrored traffic (configured on source, intermediate, and destination switches),
and a destination session (destination ports connected to analyzers on destination switches).

monitor session <id> type rpm The <id> needs to be unique and not already defined in
the box specifying type as 'rpm' defines a RPM session.

Specify the port or list of ports that needs to be
monitored

direction Specify rx, tx or both in case to monitor ingress/egress
or both ingress and egress packets on the specified
port..

rpm source-ip <id> dest-ip <id> Specify the source ip address and the destination ip
where the packet needs to be sent.

<no> flow-based enable Specify flow-based enable for mirroring on a flow by
flow basis and also for vlan as source.

no enable (Optional) No disable command is mandatory in order
for a rpm session to be active.
